Tabula Rasa Breakfast — Martín Pérez
Martín Pérez, founder of Concert Studio, is one of the people who has defined boutique music festivals in Europe: experiences with their own identity, in singular venues, with line-ups that combine major international names and quality acts. He has directed festivals such as Mil·lenni, Cap Roig, Jardins de Pedralbes, the Cerdanya Music Festival and the Icónica Sevilla Festival ALMA, alongside a new project he unveiled for the first time at this breakfast.
Over more than three decades he has produced concerts by artists such as The Three Tenors, Julio Iglesias, Josep Carreras, Leonard Cohen, Zubin Mehta, Bob Dylan, Mariah Carey, Charles Aznavour and Tom Jones. In the conversation he shared how a festival comes together, how deals are negotiated with international figures, and what artistic management at that level teaches you.
