Marius Carol has spent 38 years at La Vanguardia, where he was editor between December 2013 and February 2020. He contributes to Catalunya Ràdio, RAC 1 and Onda Cero, and to television programmes such as El Club on TV3 and Ruedo Ibérico on Antena 3. His books include El niño del ajedrez and El camarote del capitán.
